Room to play the game in the wind
Built over a VERY flat seaside location in Sanya, Luihuitou Golf Club exposes golfers to the constant trade winds that are found in this part of the world.
Wide fairways coupled with large, strategically placed bunkers provide golfers with plenty of room to play their game - however posting a good score will require taking on the dual hazards of sand and water.
Significant amounts of fill were moved in this project, to give the course depth and movement that would otherwise be missing from such a flat site.
